tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5878927.post112464548559163160..comments2010-02-03T19:59:18.002-05:00JtPhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15104698531910848783joethepeacock@gmail.comBlogger1125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5878927.post-74609825085729384852010-02-03T19:59:18.002-05:002010-02-03T19:59:18.002-05:00I&#39;m currently fixing a highly infected machine, and aside from Vundo, Internet Security 2010, and a host of other spyware programs, this Coupon Printer PoS is also on the client&#39;s computer and it&#39;s a major pain in the ass removing it.<br /><br />It won&#39;t uninstall through the usual Control Panel option, and even CCleaner can&#39;t get rid of it with its built-in uninstall manager.<br /><br />So now I&#39;m forced to go into the registry and MANUALLY delete the entries one-by-one. <br /><br />Oh, what fun.<br /><br />If anyone is thinking about installing this piece of junk spyware, please heed the advice of this blog post, as well as my own bit of advice here in the comments, and DO NOT INSTALL IT. <br /><br />The parent company claims you can easily uninstall their spyware program posing as a coupon clipper, but that&#39;s simply not true and it&#39;s a headache getting rid of this thing, to say nothing of the potential damage it can do to your computer in the meantime.<br /><br />Long story short: Don&#39;t install it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
