1.24.2008:
Science agrees with me: January 24th sucks
2:54 PMI believe I linked to this at some point before, but in light of my most recent series of stories about how bad my birthday has traditionally been, I figure it was relevant to provide proof that it's not just me -
Scientists have officially claimed January 24th is the worst, most depressing day of the year.
SO THERE, I'm not just being a big whiny baby.

Oh, I believe you. This week has been miserable, even though I am finally getting over the Strep From Hell. The razor blades in my throat now feel walnut-sized instead of peach-sized.
But I made my students begin your book today anyway, even if I wasn't able to meet with them face-to-face in class to tell them how awesome it was going to be.
Happy birthday!
